Jeff Evans - Club Steward
Jeff has worked at the Heswall Legion for 8 years and has great experience running pubs across the Wirral. Jeff is here most mornings ensuring the smooth running of the Club and helping with function bookings and all enquiries. Here's what Jeff has to say, " I became a member of the Heswall branch of the Royal British Legion in 1983. It wasn't until 2011 that I moved to the other side of the bar as bar staff. I worked my way to Assistant Manager and then General Manager. Our aim is to promote a Legion Club that appeals to our existing membership and for the long term future of the Club to promote events that will appeal to new members also to our ever growing young generation of Legion members. I look forward to an exciting future for the Heswall Legion Club, I also look forward to meeting you all very soon."
Kym Harper - Steward
Kym has worked at the Heswall Legion for over nine years and has much experience dealing with the general public. Kym's roles vary from being the Events Manager, Function Manager and "resident Chef". Here's what Kym has to say, "Having worked here for nearly a decade it is safe to say that the Legion feels like my home. Staff and customers are a great friendly bunch and are always very welcoming. I've been Assistant Manager for just over 2 years now and am really enjoying it. I've worked in many other bars and restaurants in the area; on the bar and working as a Chef which has helped me in the Legion today. No two days are ever the same. One day I'll be working our Members Bar and the next making buffets or hot food for our event nights. It definitely keeps me on my toes."

Jamie Kershaw - Steward
Jamie has worked with us for 8 years and is experienced in working an efficient bar and running groups from within the Heswall Royal British Legion. Jamie's roles vary from working on any of our three bars to effectively filling in other positions when required. Here's what Jamie has to say, "I have been a member of the team here from just before 18 years of age, I have done many different roles here such as glass collecting, cleaning and taking function bookings. Working here is like having a second family, I see customers I've known for years on a weekly basis all of whom are welcoming and supportive to anyone who comes in. As well as my role as relief manager I am a Cadet Instructor here at the Heswall Legion, this I find very fulfilling as I help guide the younger generation through life's hurdles. It's a great environment to be involved in especially with the flexibility I am offered with the role."
